Joyeux Noël !

A little more than a week before ... Christmas ! How do you celebrate Christmas in Spain ? The British like singing Christmas carols. Here is a Christmas song all French children know by heart (at least the chorus) : listen to it and enjoy the magic of Christmas !
Joyeux Noël à tous !

Since you also learn French, here are the lyrics :

Petit Papa Noël

Refrain :
Petit papa Noël
Quand tu descendras du ciel
Avec des jouets par milliers
N'oublie pas mon petit soulier.

C'est la belle nuit de Noël
La neige étend son manteau blanc
Et les yeux levés vers le ciel
À genoux, les petits enfants
Avant de fermer les paupières
Font une dernière prière.

Refrain :

Pour voir si tu m'as apporté

Refrain

Let's blog !

Let's blog ! is a school blog from 12-13 year old pupils at Collège de Penn ar C'hleuz in Brest, France. They are in year 8 and they started learning English last year. English is their second foreign language as they also learn German. This blog will enable them to exchange with their new penfriends near Barcelona, Spain and discover more about their customs. I'm sure this will be a great learning experience for them !
